Set BudgetAxe as your homepage

BudgetAxe works best when it is one click away. Use https://budgetaxe.com/app/ as your homepage URL so your budget, quick links, weather, calendar reminders, and daily cash allowance are ready when your browser opens.

Google Chrome
  1. Open Chrome settings.
  2. Go to On startup.
  3. Choose Open a specific page or set of pages.
  4. Add https://budgetaxe.com/app/.
Microsoft Edge
  1. Open Edge settings.
  2. Go to Start, home, and new tabs.
  3. Under startup behavior, choose to open specific pages.
  4. Add https://budgetaxe.com/app/.
Mozilla Firefox
  1. Open Firefox settings.
  2. Go to Home.
  3. Set Homepage and new windows to a custom URL.
  4. Enter https://budgetaxe.com/app/.
Safari
  1. Open Safari settings or preferences.

Start with your job/paycheck or other net income so BudgetAxe can estimate monthly spending room.

Enter monthly expenses, subscriptions, Food & Gas, loans, and charge dates for your calendar.

Add savings goals

Track savings account deposits and goals so your monthly balance reflects the plan.

Back up your data

Your data is local to your browser. Export backups regularly before clearing browser data or changing devices.
